TOP 10 Family Attractions in Trakai

1. Tour to Hill of Angels
This is the youngest site to visit created with joint effort of the village community “Užugiriai”. The Hill of Angels was opened in 2010 and was dedicated for commemoration of the Millennium of Lithuania and the 600th anniversary of the Trakai Church. The site currently has more 40 carved oak sculptures of angels symbolizing the Christian values. Angels have been erected and are still being erected from the charitable contributions of private persons, organizations and enterprises. The famous folk-artist Algimantas Sakalauskas started the Hill of Angels, later other wood carvers joined him.

2. Dinosaur park
We are located near Vilnius, in the territory of “Senoji Karališkoji kibininė”.

From Vilnius: when driving on the highway A1 Vilnius-Kaunas, at 23 km leave the highway towards Rykantai, Trakai direction and enter the highway A1 towards Vilnius direction.

From Kaunas: važiuojant automobiliu automagistrale A1 Kaunas-Vilnius. Dinozaurų parkas – 78 km.

3. Tour to Užutrakis Manor House with Park
Užutrakis Manor Park stands in the town of Trakai, 2.8 km to the south-east of the Rykantai-Trakai road on the north-eastern shore of Lake Galvė, on a peninsula between lakes Galvė and Skaistis. The Park comprises a main house, park, outbuildings (stable, spirit distillery, smithy, granary, houses for a watchman, ferryman and gardener, barns and so on).
