11-12 July 2020 – Medieval festival in Trakai Island Castle.

A festival organised by the Trakai Historical Museum that aims at reconstructing the medieval town as it was with traditional crafts, people in period costumes and a number of games. Naturally, medieval music and dancing will also be part of the festival.

Saturday, July 11th
10.00–19.00 Presentations of ancient crafts. Educational sessions: crafts, music and military tradition. Lectures*

10.30–11.00 Medieval dances and education. Old dance troupe Festa Cortese.
11.00–11.30 Celtic medieval music. Hansanova.
11.30–12.30 Performance by the medieval illusionist and juggler Viačeslavas Mickevičius.
12.20–13.00 XIV-XV a. Presentation of the army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Combat, interactive exposition. VilkatlakaiVaringisVendes Komturia.
13.00–13.30 Medieval music. Ambera.
13.00–13.40 Vilnius Puppet Theater performance Spider’s Wedding (in the Great Hall).
13.50–14.20 Educational program Old Lithuanian instruments with Saulius Petreikis.

The organiser reserves the right to make minor changes in the programme.

Entrance fee for adults – 10 Eur.
Entrance fee for school children, students and senior citizens – 5 Eur.
