From 6 to 10 August, Trakai will become the centre of international attention \u2013 Lake Galv\u0117 will host the 2025 World Rowing Under 19 Championships, welcoming athletes from over 50 countries. Among them \u2013 a strong Lithuanian junior team, made up of the country\u2019s most promising young rowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty-six athletes will represent Lithuania in various boat classes: Geraldas Gavrilovas and Gabija Stankevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117 will compete in the single sculls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the double sculls, Orestas Kasperavi\u010dius and Gytis Maslauskas, as well as Aist\u0117 Rakauskait\u0117 and Rasa Lapetinskait\u0117, will team up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the coxless pairs, Matas Cibulskas and \u0104\u017euolas Stankevi\u010dius, along with Au\u0161ra Kavaliauskait\u0117 and Gabija Sta\u0161aityt\u0117, will take to the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the quadruple sculls, Lithuania will be represented by two men\u2019s and two women\u2019s crews: Konradas Minkus, Ivar Liepis, Motiejus Val\u010diukas, Paulius Petkevi\u010dius and Ema Glu\u0161auskait\u0117, Goda Glu\u0161auskait\u0117, Jolanta Sinkevi\u016bt\u0117, Deivil\u0117 Binkyt\u0117.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the coxless fours, we will see Goda \u0160up\u0161inskait\u0117, Gabriel\u0117 Kazakevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117, Greta Bukauskait\u0117, Skaist\u0117 Skripkauskait\u0117 and Matas Narbutas, Vilius Gicevi\u010dius, Augustas Kymantas, Kristian Morar-Urbonas join forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe championship\u2019s motto \u2013 \u2018Support the Olympians of tomorrow\u2019 \u2013 perfectly captures the importance of this event for young rowers,\u201d says Saulius Ritter, Secretary General of the Lithuanian Rowing Federation. \u201cWe invite everyone to come to Trakai and support our national team, as these promising athletes are among the world\u2019s strongest and will soon be competing for Olympic medals. The World Championships in Trakai mark the first step in their major sporting careers. Team Lithuania is particularly strong this year, and we expect high results.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place at the Trakai Rowing Sports Base, located on the stunning Lake Galv\u0117 near Trakai Castle. Spectators will be treated not only to intense rowing races, but also to an impressive opening ceremony and a fan zone featuring special activities prepared by sponsors and partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
